I Think I Broke It

Video games, TTRPGs, and dumb engineer stuff

Clearing the Shelves

I’m going to start a series here about tabletop RPGs (TTRPGs) because I love playing them and I own far too many I haven’t played or ran.

That ends now.

I’ve played multiple campaigns in DnD5e, Call of Cthulhu (CoC) 7e/Pulp Cthluhu and Pathfinder 2e. I’ve even ran a one shot and a campaign of Curse of Strahd in 5e but I want to get to play the other rpgs out there. I’m going to try and get better at game mastering as well as homebrew. In this series I’m going to detail how I went about the game I ran, how any homebrew was written and what my thoughts were about the game itself. Most of the titles I’m wanting to run are games I’ve never played before, which will be fun in itself.

First up, the first time I’ve ever written a DnD oneshot, how i did it in two weeks and how I dealt with the plan getting borked by the players immediately.
